In the preschool incursion art class, each group will have a 25-minute session to create their very own Indigenous dot painting! With a variety of classes to choose from, children can be immersed in cultural activities. One class involves choosing between 2 Indigenous symbols to paint in a "Bob Ross" style lesson. Another involves dot painting on boomerangs. At the end of the lesson, children can take part in singing "head, shoulders, knees, and toes" in Dhurga language.

In the primary school incursion art class, each group will have a 45-minute session to create their Indigenous story artwork! In a ‘Bob Ross’ style lesson, the students will follow along in a step-by-step class to create an Indigenous story. Using earth-based colours, brushes, and their fingers on a canvas.
Stage 1: The story will be made of three Indigenous symbols chosen from a template of six. With the step-by-step teaching, children will create an Indigenous story.
Stage 2: Children will use symbols to create an image that depicts their day. This includes the weather, how they're feeling, sounds, and the friendly faces around them. Being guided, children will create an earthy, Indigenous painting
Stage 3: Children will write a story and use a template of symbols to share it. Students will paint an image of their choice depicting a journey, either fictional or non-fictional.

In the high school incursion art class, each group will have a 1-hour session to create their Indigenous artwork! Students will create a traditional, Indigenous painting while including one item from the world around us, such as a cat or pineapple. This introduces modernism to traditional art. They can use earth-based colours, brushes, and their fingers on a canvas. Classes will be guided and shown how to properly execute images in a traditional form.
