Paris is an Aboriginal artist from the Awaba Mob in Newcastle. Raised on Murramarang land in Ulladulla, she is involved in native art, craft, dance, song, and teachings. She found Aboriginal artwork to be her favourite connection to culture. She is now based in Wollongong on Dharawal Land. Paris uses acrylic paint and natural mediums such as ochre and rainwater to keep her artwork connected to the land.
In Awaba native language, 'Miti Marai' translates to 'Small Spirit'. This is a representation of the artist's aspirations. All dreams begin small however with enough support and drive they can become reality. A small spirit with a lot of soul.
Miti Marai provides authentic, luxury, Indigenous artwork in a variety of sizes, shapes, mediums, and canvases. The artwork uses natural elements to add an extra layer of country and connection. Currently commissions are open for custom artworks. Send an email on our contacts page.
